- Carrington Mortgage Holdings LLC executive vice president Rick Sharga, who has briefed the Federal Reserve and Senate Banking Committee on foreclosure trends, offered some insights on the future of the housing market. 

- A recent report by PayScale and Millennial Branding came up with some interesting findings about Millennials, Generation X and Baby Boomers. About 28 percent of Millennials say financial hardship has forced them to move back in with their parents since starting their careers. 

- According to CoreLogic’s latest MarketPulse report, only 14.5 percent of homeowners owed more on their mortgages than their homes are worth in the second quarter of 2013. That’s down from a peak of 25.2 percent.

- What a night it was for the Cardinals. With their backs against the walls, the Redbirds found a way to secure a come-from-behind 4-2 victory over Boston to even the World Series at a game apiece before returning to St. Louis.
