November 1: Links of the Day

Real estate links

- Stock market investors are continuing to show an appetite for real estate.

- More and more developers are converting office buildings into apartments and condos.

- The Federal Reserve elected to keep its $85 billion-a-month bond-purchasing program unchaged, which should keep mortgage rates low for now.

St. Louis links

- The St. Louis Post-Dispatch put together a video of one of St. Louis' most unique Halloween traditions — trick-or-treaters telling jokes before getting candy.

- Looking for something fun to do with the whole family this weekend? The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra is performing live to two Walt Disney Classics, "Fantasia" and "Fantasia 2000."

- NextSTL reported earlier this week that a new 8,000 square-foot music venue is coming to The Grove.

For your entertainment

- The St. Louis City Museum threw a bunch of pumpkins off a roof and recorded it. And it looked like a lot of fun.
