Street Fighting Band: A Rolling Stones Tribute

Some of the most talented musicians in St. Louis are joining forces to pay tribute to one of the most popular rock bands of all time Friday at 8 p.m. at The Pageant. The group features members of El Monstero, Celebration Day, Funky Butt Brass Band, Rhythm Section Road Show and more. “Street Fighting band captures the true essence of rock ‘n’ roll’s royalty. Forget Me Not by Tom Holloway

Performed at the Kranzberg Arts Center, Forget Me Not is the tale of a child named Gerry who is told his mother has died and, like thousands of British kids between 1945 and 1968, was shipped to Australia. The play follows Gerry as he turns 60 and returns to his native UK to learn about his roots and what it means to love. The play is directed by Phillip Boehm. Performances are at 8 p.m. except for Sundays (7 p.m.) and a 3 p.m. performance on February 16. Saint Louis University Billikens men’s and women’s basketball

It’s an Atlantic 10 Conference doubleheader Saturday at Chaifetz Arena and a huge one at that. Starting at 1:30 p.m. the No. 19-ranked Billikens men’s squad will face George Washington with a share of first place in the conference on the line. Orchid Show

It’s the first day of the Missouri Botanical Garden’s Orchid Show, which gives visitors the once-a-year chance to view a rotating display of hundreds of gorgeous orchids in the Garden’s permanent living collection inside Orthwein Floral Display Hall. This year’s show celebrates the orchids of South America.
